Yard Tidy

A big thanks to those that turned out to take down the temporary yard extension and tidy the yard. If you can dismantle your cradle and remove or relocate so much the better as it will free up space. The workshop remains to be cleaned out.  Perhaps if you have left anything of importance there, now is the opportunity to remove before it is disposed of in error.

Craning In

The invoice has now been received for both the Craning In days . As agreed we will add both A/C's and divide by the number of boats craned in. As indicated it will be more expensive . These bills will be sent out shortly and prompt payment would be appreciated, the yard dues will also be included with your invoice.

Whiteness Head

Despite the early start and the rain we had a reasonable turnout at Whiteness. 5 of the newly acquired Optimists were on the water and the youngsters seemed to enjoy sailing them. At a cost of £300 per boat we think we have done quite well , especially as we received a grant of £2000 from Nairn District Council.  Have a look at the website where you will see a photo from Sunday.

We have found it necessary to charge £2 per family for attending the dinghy session to cover some of the costs of the fuel for the rescue boats and the hire of the toilets.

We would appreciate any help you can give for launching and recovering boats or general tuition. You need not get your feet wet. We are still trying to source a container to store wet suits, life jackets and sails. Should anyone know where we can acquire one please let us know.  Sunday 2nd May 1300 hrs Dinghy Session at Whiteness.
