NSC Update

Bar Opening Night - Saturday 27th February at 2000 hrs

The bar will be open on the above evening and all members new and old will be very welcome. We will take the opportunity to have further discussion on this years Summer Cruise. The fact that our dates overlap with the Clyde Cruising Club's 100th Anniversary may have altered peoples thinking. If you are considering joining this years cruise and can't attend try and make your views known to someone you know will be attending.

Scots Night

Thanks to all that attended the Scots Night. It was a most enjoyable evening with excellent food supplied by Donnie MacLeod and wonderful music from all our contributors. The Clubhouse was beautifully laid out thanks to the efforts of Pam Gordon, Gina Holmes and Linda Gordon. Linda Semple did a great job on the bar.

11 people successfully completed a VHF course held in the Clubhouse. A First Aid course has been arranged for Sunday 21st February and there may be a few places left.

Whiteness Head - Sunday 28th February 0900 hrs

Attention all dinghy sailors! A work party is required to help spruce up the portacabin at Whiteness - internal and external painting. We will also take the opportunity to do a beach clean and clear a landing area of stones to protect the dinghies coming ashore. Further details will follow but a good response from all adults and children would be welcome.

Clive Rowland - Talk - Friday 5th March 1930 hrs

Epic on the Ogre Karakoram, an illustrated talk by club member Clive Rowland. Members and non members most welcome. Collection for the RNLI.

Millbank Fund Raiser

Details will follow from Fiona Murrray

Cheese & Wine Evening - Saturday 20th March at 2000 hrs

Library Books

A selection of second hand sailing books have been purchased thanks to a generous donation from Ian George and Anne Glover. These will be added to the Club library and are available to all members.
