Coaching day 6 and 7
by Unknown - 23:47 on 08 June 2012
James had another full day on Thursday with adult sessions , beginners after school and "Intro to double handers" in evening. Sam, Fraser and Calum had a great time learning about the Feva and all had spinnaker runs with James helming in a good breeze.
And last session today.
Well done everyone, fantastic effort all around, not least from parents...loads of rescue boat drivers now...what a difference!
James and I both really impressed by all our sailors. Great to see so much progress in one week. And it looks like all our new members enjoyed their experience too which is great.
James has agreed to stay up til Sunday so he can be around to generally assist club members for the club session. It would be helpful to know who is planning on attending on Sunday, so please reply yes/no to this email asap. Session fee will be £10 per family this week so we can pay James for his time.
We are also putting together sessions for the 22nd (after school), 23 and 24th of June. Stay tuned, I may try calling everyone for a simpler method, so do have a look at your calendars to see if you are going to be free. Quite a few of our juniors are now planning on participating in the Moray Firth Scottish Youth Series regatta at Chanonry SC, Fortrose, June 30/July 1, so training the previous weekend will be really beneficial to all our novice racers. Don't forget, James will be the coach at the Regatta and he will be looking out for all our NSC sailors, advising you on the water, looking after safety and making sure you know what to do.
Any questions, give me a call or email.

That's great James is staying on!!
Is it a free for all with him or set times?
As for the 22nd/23rd/24th we will be away first 2 days and back for the 24th session.
Thanks for all you help and info
It will be set times, should have it sorted out by Monday eve hopefully, but we will definitely have something for Euan on the Sunday. Christine
